Made from vineyards located in Meursault with an age between 35-60 years, the Cuvée des Ormes is called our Baby Meursault. All the vineyards are located around this village but in the "Regional" appellation.
Harvested by hand, the wine is aged for 12 months in barrels on the lees. Racked one and assembled in a single vat before bottling, usually between the 16 and 18 months (depending on the vintage).
The wines is delicate, rich, elegant and a great length. It's drinking well right now and up to 6 years after the vintage. however if kept perfectly it can be stored even longer.
